SUNY Broome’s Electrical Engineering Technology program is a great place to start your career or update your skills. The program emphasizes both the theory and the application of scientific and engineering methods, and prepares the student for immediate employment or for transfer to an upper-division school upon graduation.
Modern electronics is at the heart of a wide range of equipment, including projection television, satellite receiver systems, speech synthesis, robotics, aircraft navigation systems and more. EET students learn about the Internet, robotics, satellite systems and computer networks. The graduate will be prepared to be the “intermediary” between the designer and the skilled craftsman, and will translate problems into solutions by building equipment using their knowledge. An exciting engineering technology career is waiting for you in this field!
